Last year we had to cancel our 6th Annual La League Nursing Conference was canceled due to the covid-19 pandemic.
This year we are back.
Friday, July 23 a virtual conference – Item Writing: A Step-by-Step Approach to Next Generation NCLEX® Success! with Loretta Manning, MSN, RN, GNP.
Loretta is the CEO and Co-Founder of I CAN Publishing®, Inc. an organization that specializes in services and resources to assist students and faculty in achieving successful educational outcomes. She is also the Co-Executive Director of Leading Learning, LLC an organization that provides consultation to nursing faculty in the areas of curriculum development, item writing, teaching strategies, critical thinking, and clinical teaching.

- Innovative strategies demonstrating an 18-year “PROVEN” “SAFETY” Model for success to help students transfer newly learned information to long-term memory for concept mastery.
- Pathophysiology, systems, standards, and concepts will be linked to a “Less is Best” approach for classroom and clinical teaching.

- Integrate the current Test Plans with writing both traditional and NGN test items.
- Practice an easy “Step-by-Step Approach” for revising test questions to better evaluate clinical decision-making.

- Discuss and practice an easy “Step-by-Step Approach” to transition traditional questions into the Next Generation NCLEX(R) format.
